SHREVEPORT, LA –Calumet Specialty Products announced today that a grant application is now open for first responder agencies in Caddo, Bossier, and Webster Parishes. Agencies can apply for grants of up to $5,000 to fund specific equipment, training or other resource needs. The application will be open through July 31 on the company’s website, and funds will be distributed in September.
The grant funds were raised from the Calumet Open Golf Tournament last month. A total of $28,000 will be distributed to first responder organizations. This is the second year Calumet has raised funds for first responders in Northwest Louisiana with its golf tournament, but this year’s event raised more than $11,000 more than the 2022 event.
