We were thrilled to welcome Governor John Bel Edwards, Senator Robert Mills and Representatives Sam Jenkins and Wayne McMahen to Calumet’s Shreveport, Louisiana refinery on September 26. At Calumet, we believe collaborating with our local government members is essential to achieve the best outcomes for our communities. We shared a meal and had great conversation about how Calumet can best participate in job training, education support and other economic opportunities. Our visitors toured the control room and learned more about Calumet’s business.
We are grateful for these officials taking time out of their schedules to visit us. Through these conversations, we’re better able to make sure Calumet is making meaningful contributions to the state of Louisiana and our neighbors.
